The new Macromedics FlexBoard combines an extremely lightweight baseplate with a locking system specially designed to host multiple breast treatment modules based on user preferences and clinical needs.

The FlexBoard EX combines the FlexBoard base with the EagleBoard-2 indexed wing board for quick and easy patient set-up. All of the components are carbon fiber, making the FlexBoard line the lightest conventional breast board on the market. The user can slide and index the EagleBoard-2 longitudinally, allowing the setup to be adjusted for patient height. The M-grip and bottomstop ensure comfort as well as reproducible set-up for breast and thorax treatments. The EagleBoard-2 provides full support of the upper arms and can be combined with a vacuum cushion if desired.

flexboard lx

The FlexBoard LX is very similar to the stand-alone BreastBoard LX. Utilising a coreless, single-layer carbon fiber treatment zone, the FlexBoard LX provides an IGRT treatment area with minimal attenuation and maximal homogeneity and stability. The stable, easy to adjust arm supports on the FlexBoard LX address many of the adjustment challenges with other breast board arm supports, providing quick, customizable set-ups for patient comfort and clearance. The FlexBoard LX further addresses common patient comfort issues by incorporating a contoured lumbar area and an optional bottomstop adapter for shorter patients.
