Macromedics S-Type Baseplate

MacroMedics® S-Type baseplates are ergonomically shaped for patient comfort. They are indexed on the couchtop with 2 CouchStrips to ensure stable, reproducible positioning. MacroMedics S-Type baseplates are prepared for attachment of hand grips (optional) to bring the patients shoulders as much as possible out of the treatment area.

An MR safe version is available.

HeadTilt

The HeadTilt tilting baseplate can be quickly clicked onto S-Type head & neck baseplates and offer angulation of up to 25° or 35° in 5 or 7 steps. This setup can be handy for sparing the optic nerve during pituitary treatments. Tilting baseplates also avoid overstretching of masks, which can be seen with wedges or blocks.
